As a finishing touch, add a hit counter. Very often, whoever is hosting your pages (be it your Internet Service Provider, a paid web hosting company, or a free web host) will have a free counter available for your use. Usually excellent instructions are provided.

There are also many third parties that offer free counters available to anyone. You can find all kinds by searching Google. Installing a counter is a simple matter of inserting a snippet of code into your page. Just follow the instructions they provide. It's very simple.
