Practice Exercises
A companion to the PageTutor lessons
I've always been a firm believer in the concept of "learning by doing". Knowledge ain't worth a hill of beans unless you can apply that knowledge in a practical way. The best way to do that is to practice what you've learned... take that knowledge and put it to real-world use. What you'll find here are practice exercises that will put to use what you've learned.
You will start by making a simple page from scratch and uploading it to a server so it is viewable from the rest of the world. You'll then go on to make a few simple pages that will utilize some of the basic HTML knowledge you have acquired.
Again, I can't stress enough... your proficiency with HTML is directly proportional to the amount you practice authoring with it (and toying around with Composer, MSWord or Front Page is not HTML practice). So, that said, let's get a little practice...
